| The Reed House was built in 1892 by Samuel Harrison Reed, the lawyer for George Vanderbilt, whose opulent Biltmore Estate lies near-by.Reed's simple but elegant Victorian mansion is haunted by a ghost who passes its time playing pool on a table in the gameroom,which lies between the parlor and the library.
