Michael; The Right Hand of God
The most reknown of the entire host of heaven, he is one of the only three angels mentioned in the Christian Bible (along with Gabriel and Raphael). He is best known for having cast Lucifer (or Belial) into the pit, and is often represented as battling the serpent. He is chief of the order of virtues, Prince of the presence, angel of repentance, righteousness, mercy and sanctification, and ruler of the 4th Heaven.
Gabriel; The Wrath of God Destroyer / Messenger
Best known as the angel who told Mary of her conception with The Christ, Gabriel is often the messenger to mankind, being highly involved in our world. As much as he cares for humanity, he is also their destroyer, being charged with the “extinction of nations”. In legend it is Gabriel who dictated the Koran to Mohammed and parted the Red Sea. It is also written that it is Gabriel who will sound the horn announcing the second coming. Gabriel is the ruler of psychic gifts, intuition, mercy, annunciation, vengeance, the cycles of women, female aspects of men and the first heaven.
Raphael; The Breath of God
Above all, Raphael’s legends paint a picture of a healer. Often represented with the “Golden Vial of Balm”, and a pilgrim’s staff, Raphael has an apparent charge to heal the Earth. He was the angel who healed Abraham’s pain of circumcision, cured Jacob’s thigh after being wrestled by Samael, and gave the medical book, “The Book of the Angel Raziel” to Noah. Raphael also provided Solomon with a magic ring, the Pentalpha, in order to build his temple. He is one of the Princes of the Presence, healing, joy, miracles, grace, patron of travellers, and ruler of the 2nd Heaven.
Azrael; The Comfort of God (Death (comfort> Book of Life & Death / (gigantic)
Azrael, the Angel of Death, who is “Forever writing and erasing in a great book. What he writes is the birth of a man. What he erases is their death.” Azrael does not decide who lives or dies, in fact he is unaware of a person’s death until a leaf falls from the great tree beneath God’s throne. A person’s name is on the leaf and Azrael knows he must sever that soul within 40 days. Sometimes the soul is reluctant to leave, therefore Azrael entices them with an apple from the great tree.
Metatron; The Voice of God
supposedly Enoch was transformed into Metatron, one of two angels that were once human...
Uriel; The Gift of God
Uriel, whose name means “God is my light” or “God is Light” or “Radiation of God” or “Fire of God”, is ranked variously as a Seraph, Cherub, Regent of the Sun, Flame of God, and Angel of the Presence. Uriel is a spirit of ministration, peace, ruler over magick, devotion, alchemy, sudden changes (“The Winds of Change”), and charged with Tartarus or Hades. Uriel guards the gates of Eden with the flaming sword of God, awaiting man’s return.
Uriel is also the Angel of Thursday, Angel of Poetry, and one of the Holy Sephiroth. If not to be mistaken, he also wrestled Jacob on mount Peniel and lost, told Noah about the upcoming Great Flood, and checked the doors of Egypt for lambs blood during the plague. Also holds the key to the Pit during the End of Days and led Abraham to the West. Furthermore, Uriel, along with with Gabriel, Suryal, Michael, and Raphael, testified on behalf of Man during the reign of the Fallen Watchers, Nepholim, in the Book of Enoch. They represented our case for divine intervention since the Watchers, led by Samyaza, were devouring mankind and all their fruits.
Camael; The Judgement of God (Divine Justice)
Also Chamuel, Kemuel, Shemuel, Seraphiel, Camiel, Camiul, Khamael, Camniel, Cancel and Jahoel, he is a lesson in duality, being an angel of both Divine Love and Divine Justice. He is reputed to be the angel who holds the monster Leviathan in check. Camael presides over war, joy, happiness, contentment, and justice. He is Chief of the Order of Powers, one of the holy Sefiroth, an angel of the Presence, and ruler of the 3rd Heaven. He is depicted as wearing an iron helmet, green armor plates and a red tunic.
Jophiel; The Beauty of God
Archangel Jophiel was the first World Teacher for our world. Teaches the outer consciousness the Power of Light within oneself.. Stirs the feelings, through Radiation of Illumination, into aspiration for spiritual things
Israfel; The Chorus of God
is said to have the sweetest voice of all god's creatures
Raziel; The Mind of God
supposedly took the name raziel from 'ra' during his eyptians days as the sun-god ---Angel of Secrets, Angel of Mysteries, Raziel is the possessor of a staggering amount of information about the arcane and occult. Once said to stand in the curtain between God and the rest of his Creation around the divine throne, Raziel carefully notes down everything said in a large book, the Sefir Raziel Hamalach (the Book of the Angel Raziel).
Cassiel; The Tears of God
Cassiel, ruler of Saturday. The angel of solitudes and tears who "shew forth the unity" of the eternal kingdom. Cassiel is one of the rulers of the planet Saturn, being responsible for its motion and proper place in the heavens. He is the ruling prince of the seventh heaven, one of the Sarim (princes), of the order of powers, and sometimes appears as the angel of temperance.
Zadkiel; The Mercy of God
Zadkiel is the angel of benevolence, mercy and memory, according to Davidson's, A Dictionary of Angels. Some writers say it was Zadkiel who held back Abraham's arm when the patriarch was about to sacrifice his son Isaac. Archangel Zadkiel and Archeia Amethyst work on the seventh ray, which is violet, and represents transmutation and purification through invocation-the act of calling upon the presence of God for intercession. The archangels of the violet ray intensify the powers of mercy, compassion, forgiveness and freedom.
Haniel; The Love of God
Archangel Haniel is called "the glory" or the "glory of the grace of God". Generally thought to be in charge of Capricorn, or the month of December, Haniel is the archangel who is the chief of the Order of Principalities, Virtues and Innocents. Haniel has a close association with Enoch, and therefore with Metatron, is related to the Chaldean Ishtar, ruler of Venus, and therefore also related to Lucifer and Quetzalcoatl.
Raguel; The Eye of God
His name's meaning is considered to be "Friend of God". He's speciality is to bring justice, equality and fairness. He is concerned with the powers of balance.
He is considered to be the angel of earth and the guardian of 2nd (and/or 4th) heaven. He watches the behavior of other angels. He is also responsible to bring other angels to role.
Historically; resemblances can be found in Babylonian culture as "Rag" (some translations says Ragumu), and in Sumarian as "Rig" which means to talk or speech. Thus, in those cultures as well; he represents balance
Sandalphon; The Path of God
originally the prophet elias -SANDOLPHON IS TWIN TO THE ANGEL METATRON, CHIEF OF THE HEAVENLY SONG. GATHERS ALL OF THE PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL, MAKES A GARLAND THEN SENDS THEM ON TO THE "KING OF KINGS". HE IS INSTRUMENTAL IN BRINGING ABOUT THE DIFFERENTIATION OF SEX IN THE EMBRYO. IT IS SAID HIS KNOWLEDGE GAINED THROUGH SERVICE CAN NOT BE MEASURED. NOTHING IS MISSED OR HIDDEN FROM HIS AWESOME INSIGHT. HE GATHERS ALL PRAYERS THEREFORE HE MISSES NO THOUGHT OR FEELING, AND WILL DISPENSE THE DIVINE DISSOLUTION OF THE ORIGINAL CAUSE OF HUMAN CREATED PAIN AND TRAUMA, TO THOSE WHO ARE OF HONEST INTENT TO CHOOSE AGAIN, TO CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY, CORRECTLY.

I believe that I have been contacted by a couple of these Arch Entities myself.. call me crazy, but I can decifer reality from spiritual (-: Great post, Heather!! It helps those out there to see that these are the spirituals that also come to certain psychics as well, and tocuhes mostly those psychics that help the police and FBI and issues of that nature. It is how they are so accurate. At least, that is my belief on that phenomena. |
