The Imp In The Lava Lamp |
My best friend, Connie, came to visit me from near Chicago. We have been best friends since she was 11 years old. (Yes, someone has actually tolerated me all that time ;)<-smiles.
Anyway, Connie came down to Florida to stay for a week. I had her stay at my house. I coverted my son's old bedroom into a guestroom/study. And, in the roon, I have a Lava Lamp that I use for a "nightlight".
Now, Connie does not share my love of the Paranormal. In fact, Connie is a self-descibed "Good-German-Girl", who just doesn't go for what doesn't apply to everyday life. Her reality is work, kids & laundry. She sometimes teases me for frequently "thinking OUTSIDE the box".
Anyway, while Connie was staying with me, she was in the guest room, reading, while I went to walk my Doxie, Oskar.
The Lava Lamp had been on for several hours, and was flowing quit rapidly.
I was gone for almost an hour.
When I came back, Connie said, "You will never believe this....it just disappared". I asked "What disappeared?", She (Connie) said that while I was gone, an "imp", a long-legged, long-armed creature with a big-head, formed in the lamp, made of Lava, AND DID NOT MOVE. It simply remained suspended the entire time I was gone. That defies logic, hot wax, in hot oil, in a lamp that had been on for several hours?
I asked Connie if she felt scared, or any evil from the little guy.
She said, no, that was the funny part, she felt like it was "curious".
And it did not disappear until she heard me open my front door, and Oskar & I come into the house.
Interesting, huh? ;)
Of course, in my house anything is possible.
(Now if I could just teach my polterguist to do dishes). |

LOL....Yeah, I'm with you...if the paranormal beings want to interact with the living world, they can at least wash a few dishes and throw in a load of laundry!
But man, that is a little creepy. But what would the point be of anything entity using lava lamp stuff to form a body?? Ever get the feeling they just like to mess with us??

Honey, with all that paranormal activity, I don't think it's your house. I think it's you! Otherworldly things are drawn to you because you are open to them. I bet that made a believer out of Connie though!! :) ~*HeavensLilSin*~ |
