National Geographic is my favorite program. In fact, it is all I watch on television. But, because I had to go to work last night, I missed that episode, and I was really wanting to see it. Fear not though, I tell myself... they re-run many things so I know I will eventually see it when it is aired at a time I am home! |

Hiya, Kiki :) Even if the porker was "only" nine feet long....That is still a "lot" of pig meat! My dad had one of those white/pink hogs and it "dressed" six-hundred and fifty pounds. I find it reasonble to assume that they could grow to a thousand pounds. Witha couple hundred bushels of greens and a truckload of cornbread...We could feed USM for a day...*wink* Thanks for the info, lady....Write on....:) |

Kronkite...another thing...about this Hogzilla..one of the fish ranchers nearby this location said that he grows his fish to jumbo size for its species...with a fish food that has 100% protein in it...He says the feril pigs sometimes RAID his stash of feed...He thinks Hogzilla is the product of his fish food. |
