I dont know what it could have been standing over you as there are many things that go bump in the night. However I've heard of the other person being like paralyzed and they cant do anything, this happened to both my daughters. They told me the only way they could snap out of it was to scream the name of Jesus in their heads and then they were finally able to move. |

I believe in ghosts but don't know what to think except maybe the dog was sleeping soudly and just didn't feel it. |

Andrea, your husband has experienced Sleep Paralysis. This is something that sometimes happens when spirit visits us... but not always. Many people say they were terrified when this happened to them and others say they enjoyed the visit. I think that many people are afraid because they do not understand what is happening and sometimes fear that the spirit has come to harm them in some way. If we are good people and live decent lives there is no reason to fear any spirit... usually it is just a relative who has passed on and wants to see us or one of our guides. Maybe your spirit guide was escorting your husband back from the other side where we all visit during the night, this nightly journey is called an obe ( out of body experience.) It sounds to me like your husband woke up in the middle of his return before the spirit had left.... this happens sometimes. |

I think that the spirit had to do with me, because it was on my side of the bed standing over me. He just happened to wake up at that specific moment and see it by my side. After a bit it just disappeared. I find it interesting yet scary..lol But oh so fasciniating. I truely believe in all of this. |

Yes, these things are all quite true Andrea, and really do happen! I believe the Spirit was probably some one for your husband though, since you were asleep and he was the one who was temporarely paralyzed. When the spirit saw that your husband was frightened , it may have moved away from him, but who really knows? |

It could be you were having an astroprojection of youself where you soul gets out of your body and goes somewhere else. Sounds like your soul was floating above your body and that's probably what he saw. That is also why you weren't able to wake up. |
