Hart Heritage Assisted Living Facility |
I work at a nursing home, (its called an assisted living facility but we do way more then just assist – from here on out I will refer to it as H.H.) and needless to say, since it is a place where many a person has passed, it is inhabited by many a ghost. The place itself is rather small compared to a normal nursing home, we only have 38 residents, so one gets to know them on a one on one basis very well. I work the 11pm-7am shift (only 3 girls on at that time of night) so of course many strange things happen while I am there, The following are a few accounts up to day from fellow employees (before I started) and myself. (as new occurrences happenI will post them)
To get into the dining area of H.H you go past the common areas
Another co-worker told me that a couple times she walked by one particular doorway and would often see a black figure standing about 3 feet inside the room. When she would go back to investigate it would be gone. Not long after, the person who stayed in that room passed away.
When I first started working me and my 2 co-workers were doing rounds on one particular hallway that seems to have immense energy coming from it. At one wall separating 2 rooms we heard banging (please note that in each room the beds are NOT against that wall.) I have heard banging a few times down that hallway since. (when we checked both ladies in the rooms were asleep)
Finally I am able to feel things and see them in my mind, not actually see them but can get a good mental picture. I was walking down a hallway and felt this energy so strong I could mentally see a woman in a wheelchair at the end of the hall coming toward me. The presence I felt although VERY strong, did not feel threatening, but I still went back to the common area quickly and sat in one of the recliners, although I felt the presence near me, following me to the common area. I began to watch the TV that was on and forgot about the feeling, then out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like light would when reflected off of a mirror or glass hover over a chair and disappear. I chalked it up to the ghost wanting to sit down and just went back about my business.
I have always felt things my entire life, My father passed when I was 8 months old and I have always felt him near me, as well as other presences. I have never totally felt alone, and can even sometimes mentally see what it is that I feel. wow, awesome experiences you had there. is there any way that you could take pictures while your at work? it would be soooooo kool if you could catch them on film. :D:D:D |

Hey there Frosty,
I too, use to work in a nursing home and would experience the same black shadow so to say during the night shift. It seems it would be on 2 halls that I would see always see something and on those halls one particular room would have this shadow.
Now, have heard stories from the other employees about how rockers would rock by themselves or a certain resident wore a certain type of perfume and after she had left they would smell that perfume on that hall. I myself, had never seen the rocking chair rock or smelled any GOOD odor like this there but, who knows. Like, you said a lot of people come here with this being their last home before departing here from earth.
