JAMAICA INN, BODIM, CORNWALL, ENGLAND |
| At the Jamaica Inn at Bolventor, near Bodmin, the ghost of a mudered sailor returns to finish his last drink, and he has also been seen sitting on a wall outside the inn. The inn was made famous by the Daphne Du Maurier novel of the same name. Cornish ghosts are often associated with the sea, from which many Cornish people made their liveluhoods-either as fishermen, salvagers, or smugglers.
