Really Cool OBE Last Night! ~Lightworker~ |
I had one of the strangest OBE's that I have ever had last night. I was in that state between waking and sleeping and I could feel myself start spinning around. I couldn't stop it and it really kind of scared me at first, as it always does if accompanied by sleep paralysis. I pulled myself out of it, and then closed my eyes again and it started again immediately. Again, it scared me and I pulled out of it. Then, all of the sudden, I was no longer in my body and I was outside on the road (I am in the country). For some reason, I just wanted to run and so I started running down the road. Then I could feel my arms lengthening and I was lowering my self to the ground. It was SO EXHILIRATING!!!
I was suddenly on four legs and just running with the wind through the night. I roared! I ran and ran, down the road and across the fields. I could smell the night and the grass and the dirt, and it felt like I was just flying across the ground, I was going so fast. Then suddenly I kind of like, became aware that I had 4 legs instead of 2, and bingo, I was back in the bed in my 2 legged body. Wow! It was really thrilling. I immediately tried to think what I was, and the first thing that came to me was I had been a mountain lion, or inside a mountain lion, and then I thought, "we really don't have many mountain lions around here, maybe it was a wolf". I just knew that I had a really big mouth, cause I could feel it when I roared!
So, I am not really sure, but I was just unpacking a big trunk I had brought in the house a couple of days ago, and in that trunk was a lifesize wooden mask of a jaguar from South America that I had bought years ago, so now I am wondering if the mask did not have something to do with it! Anyway, I don't get to have these things very often, though I have had one other where I KNEW I was a wolf and also, quite a few times a bird, and a few times swimming under water and not needing to breathe, so I am not sure what I am in the swimming one. Felt like a mer-person. But, I cannot do an OBE just by thinking about it and making myself do it, so it is really special when I do have one! Love and Light |

Its your "totem/spirit animal" coming out in you. Im sure you know about that and sending you messages. :D OBE's are awesome when you can harness them. Amazing story and thanks for sharing this part of your life with us. |

Hi, Katsho! The totem, or we call it Power Animal in Shamanism, is what I feel like it was also. Jaguar is one of my power animals, and has been since I was about 22, maybe before that, but I did not know it when I was a child. Horse and fairy have been with me since I was little bitty, like 4 or 5 that I know of. But, a few years ago when I was vision questing, I was surrounded by 3 coyotes or wolves, and wolf has been with me for a while. But, my first feeling the other night was mountain lion, or jaguar, so I am feeling that is probably what it was. It is funny, because jaguar always seems to come to me when I am alone or single. Must surely be the feminine coming out! But, wolf is feminine, also. Really a fun OBE! Thanks for replying! Love and Light P.S. These things scared my daughters really bad and so they stopped doing them, they could do them almost at will at first, and then it somehow took control and it did it when they didnt want it done. I guess if some people like to do it, great. The strangest thing I ever had happen to me was when my mom and my husband were doing work out of state and mom didnt like to sleep alone, so I went and spent the night with her in her room. We were sleeping and apparently we were in the same dream we realized when she answered my question that I asked in sleep, she answered in a waken state which also woke me up, when she spoke outloud. We were talking in our minds to each other. It really freaked mom out. |

Hi, Kronk, EasyRider and Firstborn! Thanks for stopping by! Firstborn, Gina (Moonpriestess,my daughter) and I were both doing a shamanic journey one time (where you go into a trance) and I was running with a bunch of horses and she went into this cave and there were a bunch of snakes, then all of the sudden the snakes started coming out of the cave and flowing towards the horses. She didn't know I was with the horses and I didn't know she had went into the cave with the snakes till we both ended our separate journeys and were talking about it! Reminds me of you and your Mom! Cool! Kronk, I am quite sure I would fall in a dead faint if I saw a jaguar on the loose in real life! LOL! Easyrider, my friend, you already know what your power animal is! Love and Light |
