I love that show, although I've only caught one episode and that was the Halloween special. I was amazed that they caught that short black shadow coming out from the wall in the bar! I wish I was able to keep on top of it more at school, but I always forget (and the lounges are hard to obtain). I too believe it's real and not just another gimmicky show for the same reason you do - they act like professional paranormal scientists. Fun post hon :) ~ Coffee Goddess |

Love the show! New season starts (in Oklahoma) March something (29?) My fav episode was when Frank (the sound guy) had somthing go through him and Bryan caught it on tape :) |

Hey everyone :)! Its good to see other TAPS fans! I believe it is on sometimes during the weekend, everytime I have seen it on it was a Sunday night but I could be wrong. Im not sure when the new season started but I seen the other night a "mini" marathon of a few new shows which were very good. :D keep a look out! |

My favorite episode was the dark figure in the prison you mentioned, or the one in the lighthouse where the chair moved. I'm a fan :) |

I don't watch it regularly but I have seen it quite a few times. I'm not sure what episode was my favourite but the one that stands out in my mind the most is one where they were on a ship/hotel (I believe that's what it was anyways). And on their camera in one of the rooms they caught on tape the bedsheet pulling iteslf down...but they later discovered that it had been a prank by someone on the ship and they had been tampering with the equipment. Kind of a let down/shocker but it's what I remember most lol. |

I enjoy the show and am very happy it's back on. One thing I don't care for is all the bickering in the beginning--takes too much time away from the action part! |

I like the show. I think the most interesting part is when they find rational explanations to disprove "hauntings." I do have an issue with their so-called "proof" of hauntings. To conclude that a hause is "haunted" because they can't find any explanation for events recorded there is specious reasoning. The self-proclaimed "skeptic" on their team ought to know better. Then it somehow makes it seem more "scientific" and authorative because they've found scientific "proof" of a haunting, when all they've really done is captured some strange occurrences to which all they can say is "We aren't currently able to explain what is going on here." |

So many fans! hehe Lucy I seen that one! The team figured out it was a prank which I was really disappointed because that looked really cool on camera. I think it was the hostess, I don't remember her name but she didn't seem surprised at all when they showed her the footage and when they disproved it she was kinda acting weird. Good one though! |

Thats interesting Mollycat... made me think! Another things I find that has some error is they are only at the location for a couple hours; a haunting does not run on our time and can occur at anytime. What if nothing happens at the time they are there? but does when they aren't? I wonder if they ever go back and revisit past homes/places... just something I thought about :) |

This is true, Zelana. I guess you can also say that they haven't disproved that there's a haunting just because they didn't witness anything while they were there for only a couple hours. It would be interesting if they could record a place over several months to see what they could capture over a longer time, but probably not great for entertainment purposes, which is really what this is show is all about. Yeah, I think about the best thing they can do in the limited time they have is address indvidual claims, like showing that the door that opens on its own doesn't latch all the way and gets blown open by drafts. |

I love TAPS. I think it usually comes on wensday nights also..that seems to be when I always catch it. my fav would have ot be when their in some kinda of morge and they have a thermal camra and all the sudden u see a cold image of a man turned to the side standing in what looks like a door way but when they zoom out its actually a tall locker. he looks like hes wearing a military cap and everything. they tried over and over to reinact it but never could. very cool..also do yall ever watch that show on the travel channel called hauntings or something likethat, its brittish. thats pretty good to. .. I liked the one where they went into the room of a woman (who's 4 year old daughter kept seeing a man with a boo boo on his head)and was filming with infored and they panned passed the chair.. a full bodied figure was in it... even though no-one was there. Supposedly they man had commited suicide in that room. |
