excuse me.....I did not say I could NOT explain it, and o.k., if you really want an answer, you will get one. ESP is a tool used to help guide one. Also called intuition, some people believe Divine Spirit(s) guide them from dangerous situations. Others know that in our lifetimes, we use approximately 1/16 of our brains. Those who have studied "intuition", and the ESP-phenomena believe that ESP is tapping into those parts of the brain normally not used. |

Is the world going to be changed cause of it? Will others around me benefit from it enough that their lives will be changed? What's the use anyway?

your blind and narrow minded attitude really saddens me. People study these arts for many reasons, sometimes it is part of a journey of self discovery, perhaps fulfilling their curiousity of what they are caipable of. Every practitioner has his/her own reasons. I personally have studied these things because i beleive that it is my destiny to help others, and i do this at every given opportunity. To love others and to assist them through their trials gives me a feeling of wholeness, and i know it is my purpose on this earth. Any ability i can develop which allows me to do this is a great blessing. If you want to know if it will help you enter your kindgom of god, will anything help that goal directly? Your faith teaches to love others and to help all in need, Mine does also. So in persuit of this goal i have learned &/or refined my natural gifts & put them to good use. If you can develop a skill which allows you to help others, i cannot see that playing against you. But i would advise in future that you are a sight more openminded & less rude to our fellow USMers. And remember that every little small change contributes to any larger one, never underestimate the influence of small actions. Blessings, |

I have to question your reasoning for attacking a power you do not understand, but then again, most people do fear that which they do not understand, and your fear in ESP is apparent. No man fully understands the power of the human psyche, especially since man uses so little of the brain's real potential. At one time, a time that predates the era of the Bible, man may have well used far more of his mental powers than he uses today. For the most part though, he has either forgotten how to use his entire mental abilities, or has no need for them because of other things which effects his life. Rather than attacking that which you do not understand, why don't you try to learn about it. |

I have been a Christian. I pray that someday you open your mind and learn that not all that the church teaches is true or right. Christianity, the religion of man, as practiced by many today, is not the loving religion that is spoken of in your Bible. Do you think we should not teach a child to speak or read? ESP is another sense we have, just like hearing and seeing! Many, most, just do not know how to access it! There have been many kidnapped and lost children recovered because of people with ESP workig with the police! There are many that have used that "second sight" warning system that tweaks us when we are in danger! I am sure you have done that yourself! It is a connection to the cosmic consciousness, where all things come together, all within our Creator's Universe! Would you shun a book or the Bible, because you did not want that knowledge! Then why shun this knowledge that is available to you! It does not require that you worship Satan or worship Anything that is against your Jesus! People used to do this naturally, until the heads of the churches decided that there was too much power there for mere "people" to get to have hold of. Didn't Francis of Assisi (sp) talk to the animals! Do you think this was just a common thing! He used this unique knowledge that we have access to to do this! Unless you have found that something is a BAD thing, I would suggest you open your mind. Jesus was very open-minded. He wanted only for people to be peaceful, loving and good to one another. He did not set down a million strictures so that a person had to run and check the list to see if he could do something or not. Be a good person! Worship in the way you please! What sets Christianity apart Two Spirit is that Christianity is first of all not a religion and secondly and most importatnly is that every other "god" of other religions is mean to their creation but the God of Christianity is the only God that actualy sent his son down and died for us, he's the God that died for his people caause he loves us so much. |

I think you may want to be careful what you write. For one, I do not worship demons. Neither do I worship a book. You are very young an arrogant to be telling me and others what we should be doing, and how we should be worshipping. You came into a category that has nothing to do with religion, and started forcing your mumbo-jumbo on everyone. For three yeears, you were wise enough to leave well enough alone on USM. Now, you come on these boards and attempt to reignite the religious wars all over again. Jungabel, you are so right. For whatever reason, we, as people, use very little of our brain's true potential. Some do use more than others, but still use nowhere near the full ability of the brain. If our brain's full potential were ever revealed to us, I believe we would find that what we call ESP would be a normal phenonmom that would replace our need for verbal speech. |

Jesus Christ is our only saviour.. I hold an even respect for all people of whatever opinion.. even if i dont agree, i respect their right to posess an opinion. But if you want anyone to take you seriously, my best advice is to actually quote words of your own understanding & wisdom.. not the bible. Anyone can regurgitate a bible quote but only someone who can construct a just & based debate will be listened to. I will never pretend i am a wise man. Wisdom is a lifelong path of learning & self discovery, not a condition of the mind. Speak little, listen much (Sorry.. had to quote that! lols) and you will not only come closer to a deeper understanding of your faith, the bible and everything else in between but you may even be able to find and lead others onto a more definite & enlightened path.
