| 1.The inmate in Cell 17, who killed himself by dousing himself with lighter fluid then lighting up his own body. 2.The inmate in Cell 35, who had his head crushed when someone slammed a steel door shut on him. 3.The inmate who had his throat cut with a straight edge razor in the barber- shop. 4.The wife of warden Arthur Glattke, who died under mysterious circumstance in 1950. 5.Arthur Glattke himself, whose spirit has been seen in numerous spots in the reformatory. 6.Urban Wilford, a guard who was killed during a prison break attempt in 1926. I do not know if they are having them this year, but in years past, they have had overnight ghost hunts at the prison. |

THe show TAPS went in and done a show about this prision but I don't remember if they caught anything or not but I think it is haunted with a past like that it has to be.

Creepy stuff! I think Taps went in there also and I can't remember if this is the prison where they found the black shadow... I will have to look it up! Scary! |

I tried to email for more info and to make reservations, but my mail kept being returned to me. Apparently the mailbox was full. I kept trying for a couple days, then just gave up.
My husband and I wanted a tour, but now I just let it go. |
